So i'm guessing that this is really common with people who exercise. I think its called the wall or maybe just a complete lack of focus or motivation but whatever it is, it's really difficult to get back into the habit of exercising again. The football season ended and although i feel that i should continue to run and keep up with my ibodz program, it's just not happening.
For the past 3 weeks i've made excuses to myself about why i'm not exercising but i think really its just that i'm being lazy and unmotivated. So really how do i get out of this rut? Well for a start i think i could buy some new trainers as the ones i have at the moment look as if they've been bought 3rd hand from Oxfam, with a sole that makes my feet feel every stone on the road. Also maybe i could try a new sport such as Surfing, which since i do live in Australia would make alot of sense especially since the beach is only 15 mins down the road.
But maybe it is just motivation that i need such as a decent body for summer for when i'm on the beach or at work. Who knows what it is but i hope i find it soon as summer is fast approaching and my motivation is continually lagging.
